Blog ≫ 2005 ≫ The Fireplace
Well here's the new fireplace so far:
Bit of a crappy picture, taken on the phone 1, but you get the idea... all that new plastering needs painting, so we're going to have a go at the whole room... also that mess around the floor will be covered up as we have chosen new carpets too. AND the fire won't look quite like that as of Monday, when they fit the proper cover on it. Hmm, maybe should have waited until it was finished.
Also in view 2 is our huge wine glass, still full of Christmas baubles.
UPDATE: revisiting this fifteen years later, here's another picture of the fireplace when it was all done. Wasn't our flat neat, before we had children?
