Blog2004 ≫ Say Hello, Wave Goodbye

Down in Fareham for the weekend, cheers to the chums who came out drinking in the Red Lion, was I a bit squiffy? I told you that Abbot Ale was strong. I don't remember leaving the pub or how I got home...

Nice days shopping in Chichester on Saturday, think I've found the right solid oak furniture at last... Annoyingly Country Warmth didn't turn up for their appointment to measure us up for a fireplace, that's twice now... no-one will sit in the flat waiting for them any more, will give them one more chance when I'm there Saturday... it's hard work trying to organise these things long distance. Great to spend time with the family, had a good few visitors as it was my Nan's birthday. Took a last trip to the bungalow, it's under offer now.

Saw the aftermath of a big motorbike smash near St Pauls on Sunday, while bussing it back to Stokey, seems it might have been Mark Almond. Guardian says1 it was yesterday afternoon, so does Reuters2, and as Inspector Sands says here somewhere Cannon Street is nearer to things than you'd think...

Taking another step towards podcasting, now I can see from the Engadget RSS3 how simple enclosures are... all I need now is some content. Maybe I'll just put up my voicemail messages, and all the small blurry snaps I've taken on the new phone... so if you're reading my RSS and it all seems to go wrong, I'm messing about with it!
