Blog2026 ≫ The best day of all

Pay day here at last. Back in the black, and made all the little payments I was delaying until the end of the week. Repaying leftover holiday money, Paid for guitar lessons, T2 also going back to guitar this term, and paid T2 back for a video game. After cancelling the XBox subscription I boought him one more game to make up. Cleared credit card too. That's always cleared every month, it only has train tickets on it, but I've cleared it in advance so I have a clean view of the month ahead.

Got paid a bit more this month, it can't be pay rise suddenly showing up at this point, I think I must have made my last payment into my first share save.

Lloyds dividend day coming up this week, and share save payout at some point in the next month then, that will be good.

More excitingly than all of that, I have a tip run booked for tomorrow. Get rid of the remains of the trampoline, then think about the garden. Just thinking for another few years, probably no actual doing.

9/11 twenty-five years ago today. We were in the air when it happened, I must repeat this every year. On our way to Brazil, via Paris. Got to Paris and could not take off again. I just told someone else we got diverted to Paris, that wasn't true, the flight was always via Paris to save a load of money. Anyway it's not about me. Did I tell you I went up the World Trade Centre in 2000? Got no photos from those days.

Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, 13 - 22℃.
