Blog2026 ≫ Goodbye old friend

TUBZ vending machine that I bought during COVID for a bit of fun has gone on ebay.

TUBZ vending machine, as it was for ages in my study

It was fun, very briefly, probably not £100 worth of fun, but maybe. During lockdown it was nice to have interactions like this, little reminders of the outside world. Pretending we were still going out. I have restocked it twice, or maybe it came fully stocked once. It's just gathering dust in the study. If I can get rid of that, then I can get rid of the table it sits on, then I can move some storage furniture from the playroom back into the study, and make more of the playroom / spare room. This is turning into a useful weekend of jobs.

Have listed a couple of records too but unlikely get a bite on them soon. There's that Misfits album I bought but have not played, and now a Stereophonics box set I was given once but have never played and have no interest in listening to.

Do not really imagine someone will buy the vending machine, but you never know. It has to be collection only really as it's a bit cumbersome, I'm not sure how I'd post something like that out. Other courier I guess, it's too big to just take to the post office isn't it?

Weather a bit warm again today.

Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, 16 - 23℃.
