Blog2026 ≫ Had to get the full toolkit out today

Needed all of my tools out at once to dismantle the trampoline. It's been a bit of an eyesore in my eyesore of a garden for a few years. It's rusty and rotten and mouldy and has been for too long. Time to go!

All my tools

Really hard work, but mostly dismantled. The Fubar there didn't actually get much use, I have a rubber mallet that I bought for putting the trampoline together that was most useful for loosening the joints. Then really the Leatherman and the WD40 and my elbow grease did the rest. Just one section that won't break down small enough to go in the car. Will have to get a new hacksaw blade for that but. But the rest is in a neat stack, ready to go to the tip next weekend. The soft bits are separated from the metal, which can all be recycled.

With running and DIY today I am actually quite tired. And my hands hurt. This must be what it's like to have a real job.

Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze, 13 - 21℃.
