Not my birthday, but a friend whose birthday is quite close to mine. I didn't realise she was younger than me. So, to Dover, where she lives, and The Red Lion, the pub she had chosen. We had a few tables in the garden, and all good. We got the train over with another friend, nice to catch up and see people. Then bumped into another friend in the pub, didn't realise he lived round the corner. We have arranged a history tour with him in September I think.
Friend got a birthday "Cameo" video message from Michael Barrymore. Awright up the back!
When we got the train back wife did not want to walk so we stopped in The Nailbox to wait for a taxi and had a glass of wine. There was a good blues band on, looks good in there again now. The pool table has gone though, but it was nice that it was busy.
Light rain showers and light winds, 16 - 24℃.
