T2 wanted to go to the school play today, so we did, just me and him. I got picked up from my day in London, then wife walked home and we drove on to the school. The boy wasn't in it but some of his friends were, and he loves to see his teachers outside of the normal working day. The performance was good, good songs, good performances, no fluffed lines. It was a bit hot though and the band were much louder than the actors so a bit hard to hear.
Means I'm up later than I would be on a week day, it's nearly ten and I've not long got in! Just seen the end of Spain beating Austria.
I can hear T1 doing his guitar practice and I can see the evidence of T2 having done his.
We were at Pulp, headlining Wireless Festival fifteen years ago today. I don't think you get bands like that there now. Actually I say festival, was it really? Sounds like we only saw Grace Jones and Pulp, were there other bands that we missed? I remember now we were backstage, but there was a VVIP backstage to the backstage, layers upon layers, insane. I am sure we stayed in the same hotel I stayed in at the weekend too, Covent Garden Travelodge, but this time round the room cost TEN TIMES as much.
