Woken up to the news that friend has had his backpack stolen in London. He tracked where it's gone as he had airpods in it, plus laptop and it all sorts. He actually turned up at the address! Not got anything back. The goodies have been spread around London already. Waiting to hear more. I spoke to wife and said he had been robbed and she said no, no he hadn't, it's only robbery if they use violence, it's theft otherwise.
Sleep score of NINETY-THREE last night. I did sleep very well, I felt it, which I have to keep quiet because wife has slept very badly indeed for two days in a row now, and is not happy about it.
I had a weird gig related dream last night. I was at a gig somewhere watching the band on the stage, and on the big screens beside this stage they were showing the audience singing along. Then I realised it wasn't real shots of the audience, it was stuff edited in pre-recorded. Some of the people in the crowd were David Devant and another was Lauren Laverne. Then I remember picking up a flyer for other gigs at the same venue, and there was a picture of Devant on there. Even though they weren't one of the bands playing, I think it means I want to go and see David Devant again. Misfits were one of the bands on the flyer. No-one has bought my Misfits vinyl yet.
I made a note of the dream when I woke up, dictated it into my phone, as I thought "I'll never remember that later, I never remember dreams, I wonder if I'm missing any valuable insights". I don't think I am.
Stolen stuff update. He has been and found some of the things that were stolen. Not the laptop but he's got back his keys and something else because he had air tags on them and they'd just been dumped, so that's something positive. And he's got a new laptop already. I think he went around and confronted people who he thought had the stuff that they gave him short shrift but he went round again later and found things dumped in a park nearby. It all seems to have happened near Stamford Street, near where I lived when I first moved to London and worked for IPC.
Weather nice again today. This would be considered a great summer day if we hadn't had so many mad heatwave days recently.
