Apart from the first day of this little holiday, when we both watched Better Call Saul at T1's request, I've been in charge! I struggled for a minute with what to actually watch in the evenings. I don't have long enough for a film before bed time really, and I can't watch anything anyone else wants to keep up with. I remembered Young Sherlock, which I really like and everyone else hated. It's a bit cheesy and annoying but I really like it. So finished the series of that on my own. I love the not-quite-authentic over the top aesthetic of it, I am thinking of getting myself a bowler hat.
Work going quite well today, I did forget to put something live that I swore was live, but just recovered that.
Turns out yes you can steam peas and corn, yesterday's dinner was fine. Tonight we're going out for a curry, a last night of surviving on our own celebration. Then tomorrow, day off! But lots of driving, going to collect wife and T2 from airport. They seem to have had a great time in Bergen. When they're back we'll start looking at our holiday. I mentioned it to T1, saying I'm torn between something more city breakish like we did last year, or a package by the pool, and he says city break. So we might do some independent booking, split over only two different places though I think. And I'm keen to look for a hotel with a pool for at least part of it. If a last minute all inclusive package turns up though I still might overrule.
Still hella windy out there, but no time for a walk yet today.
44Kph winds and thundery showers, 10 - 17℃.
