It's not as good as having an actual pension of course, but I have a few hundred extra quid in my pocket. I do have other retirement savings funds, the Tesco one and the Holiday Extras one (that one might actually still be called a pension), but this one I cashed in was that old tiny one from Portsmouth Uni. Going to put it all in the stocks and shares ISA anyway before I fritter it away. Will hopefully coincide with a dip in the shares because of war / fear / terror etc and I can get a good deal. Lloyds jumped up a bit yesterday though, typical timing.
Nice weather yesterday, I was in London and kind of needed to work through lunch so did not go to the park or anything. Pleasant walking along anyway though and work went well. I'm fully assimilated into the AI way of working.
Going to be a nicer day today. I'm working from home, wife has gone to London. Hopefully a normal day here, on the peaceful side, get out of work early, go to the Potting Shed 1 for beer!
Sunny and a gentle breeze, 9 - 18℃.
