Blog2026 ≫ Bin food experiments

Such a good haul at Tesco today. Something to do with the great weather, no-one was shopping, so there was so much food up for grabs at the end of the day. I got vegan pizza and sausage rolls for the freezer, somethign for lunch tomorrow, and a load of veges and bread. If I'd been in the market for chicken based ready meals there were a load. But I was not. Good job I didn't overload the basket, as in my enthusiasm I think I was about one minute early for it to count as actually free shopping, and I paid the discounted price instead. Still good, just not actually free.

I bought car cleaning stuff too and T2 seems to be doing a fairly good job of cleaning the car.

Oh the experiment part of the food is that I am making pakora type things out of the veg, in the Ninja 1. Still got all that gram flour and spices so in go potatoes, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts. Also going to roast some potatoes and the cauliflower for my actual dinner later.

Weather still really really nice, so wife and I went out for another walk. Not to the pub. She is up early to go to London tomorrow. I'm not, but by the time I was sorted the pub I like best is closed anyway.

Light cloud and a gentle breeze, 5 - 13℃.

  1. My 11-in-1 multi cooker I bought in February 2023 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09C874YNC?tag=clarkeology-21 I have mentioned it 111 times.
