Blog2026 ≫ Can I do a London parkrun tomorrow?

Will I do a London parkrun tomorrow? What is the rule when the headline is a question? We're now thinking of going to Battersea and Chelsea, and there's a parkrun at Battersea park. I think I'd have to get the 7:01 train from here, which means getting up before six, I don't think that's happening... then it would be train via Victoria and Croydon West. In my shorts and my waterproof top but carrying as little else as possible as I'd have to run with it. Not worth seeing if there's one nearer Kings Cross that I could do as that doesn't really save me any time. I still need to get a train from here around seven, and I'd have to get to Folkestone West without the car, which is a forty minute walk (or a cab ride). I don't think it's happening. Last time I did this I didn't meet the others until nearly eleven, so it probably eats too much into the day. I can do Folkestone parkrun and still get the 10am train, so will aim for that instead. Job done! Still a fairly early start after some bank holiday beers, but it's doable.

Drizzle and a fresh breeze, 8 - 13℃.
