We were part of a world record attempt yesterday. World's biggest book swap attempt in Folkestone, on the beach. They had to beat the previous record of about 560 books swapped in an hour. I think there could have been a thousand people there so I hope they did it. It felt a little disorganised but still. I got Fern Brady's book, I might even read it.
After that a quiet day really. T1 went off to friends for an afternoon and evening of cards and T2 went to a bowling and pizza party. Wife and I couldn't go anywhere else though as we'd have to pick them up later so we just did a bit more shopping.
Quiet day today too. I have not even done a big pay day spend up yet though I am thinking of buying a Barber Duke Waxed Jacket. Are they a bit brexity though? Is it a bit of a farage sort of outfit? Going to try one on, either next Saturday when we go to London or next Monday when we go to Ashford for the cinema.
Weather says drizzle but I'm not seeing it here, it looks nice.
Oasis played at the Southampton Joiners thirty-two years ago today. I was not there.
Drizzle and a fresh breeze, 5 - 11℃.
