As I already said I think, skipped the run Saturday morning to make sure I was fully rested. Then part drove part walked to Hythe to get some supplies. Didn't have time to walk the whole way to be sure we were in time for the cinema.

Went to a 4DX viewing of the sci-fi film Project Hail Mary. Haven't been to a 4DX show before. The seats move with the film, and there are also blasts of air, sprays of water, and supposedly smells too. I said "it won't be like one of those rollercoaster simulators, it will be very gentle and subtle, don't worry", but it's not at all it's a proper bone shaker. There is a demo before the trailers that probably does the most impressive version of the movement, really showing it off, then the trailers are exaggerated too. We saw the trailer for Mario Galaxy and the new Spiderman which looks REALLY GOOD. I see The Punisher is in it, and Bruce Banner, and I suspect we'll see Daredevil too.

Project Hail Mary itself really good for a fairly ridiculous premise, I loved how the story unwound, really enjoyed it.

Dropped the boys home as they could not be persuaded to come to a pub, so wife and I went to The Ship and very nice it was too, their real ale has been reliable now for a while. Very busy, full of loud people, visitors it seems, but maybe just more DFLs. Home after for quick pasta dinner and then watched How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, only one more episode left of this excellent series, and then Gladiators. Only one more of those left. We love it, but it is doing the ridiculous thing again of "everyone else is injured so this person who went out in the first round is now in the final" again. And Legend has been injured all series, I hope he comes back again.
