Blog2026 ≫ Not doing too much on my day off

Was up early to take wife to the station for her commute, then out with the boys to take T1 to work and T2 on to the hospital for a physio appointment. All good, I think that's the last one of the little exercise circuits he'll do there, he'll be left to do them by himself now. We have one more appointment next month with the clinician again to sign him off, officially say there was nothing wrong with him all along and he should just do a bit more exercise. We might go swimming later in the week.

T1 is doing a week's work experience this week in Folkestone. He's been very good about giving up his half term for it, he knows it is important. Then he has another week lined up in July for the actual NHS. Things are starting to fall into place.

I have done some washing and hoovering and darned my socks, like it is the war. I like these socks but my big toenail has gone through them again. They were expensive (from Patagonia) and so worth trying to save. I will watch some TV this afternoon as T1 is heading off round a friend's house and I am free until doing double pick up at 5pm.

Light rain and a fresh breeze, 2 - 9℃.
