Now to try and put the rest of it back together. The switch did come with a long handled hex driver of the right size, so I won't have to bodge the dyson back together like I bodged it apart. The first bit was all fine, philips screws, I thought this was going to be easy. Then as you got deeper in it has star shaped screws that were too small for the few star shaped bits I have. So this is good. It also a space switch. Do they not have much faith in their replacement? Or do they not have much faith in the idiots who are trying to fit these and are assuming I will break the first one? So far so good though.
