I never went to the Four Candles, but it was the inspiration for The Inn Doors, which I did go to a lot. The Four Candles was a micropub in Broadstairs. We've been to Broadstairs, how did I not go there? Maybe I did and I have just forgotten. Anyway it's gone now.
The Four Candles Alehouse in Broadstairs, run for more than 13 years by Mike Beaumont, was put up for sale in October.
