Blog2025 ≫ Dogsitting went well

The dog was good at our house, and we enjoyed having her. Wife especially liked her after she settled down (after the dog settled down, the wife never quite settled down). T2 was surprisingly nervous with her, he's more of a cat person. I am not a pet person at all but she was a fine house guest. She chewed my blanket a bit but that was OK.

Got some work done today. A normal day of work though I'm the only one in on my team, so a bit weird.

We have a night out with friends tomorrow, weird for a Tuesday night. All bets are off during twixtmas though surely. Think I will not be going out on Wednesday night, new year's eve itself, but maybe for a bit right after work. Then Thursday, Friday, the whole following month, no going out. Apart from all that today is probably the only not drinking day of this week.

We're off to Ashford on Saturday, not sure how I talked myself into that. It's the day after pay day, I have nothing better to do, and kids need shoes.

Drizzle and a moderate breeze, 6 - 8℃.
