Seasons greetings to all my readers. Oh, I think I just spent christmas with both of my readers. And it was lovely. Fine journey down to Portchester christmas eve, quick trip to The Delme to meet a friend with the family and play some cards and drink some beer. Super eating and drinking on christmas day, starting at The Seagull, but then a lovely dinner all together. Briefly back to The Delme on boxing day to watch the Pompey game. Wondered if other friends would show for that, but no, so straight back again to more eating and drinking. Slightly less eating and drinking on boxing day compared to christmas day to be slightly more prepared for parkrun this morning and then another long drive home. The drive was good, there was a bit of a hold up at Cobham services where we stopped for a break.
Quick stop at Tesco for some food for breakfast. T1 has gone to the gym, T2 is burning through his christmas money fast on online pokemon games. After I pick T2 up from the gym then we'll get a chinese takeway and maybe then we'll open our presents. We decided not to take our presents for the four of us down to Portchester as the car was overloaded as it was. We were going to do it now but T1 preferred the gym.
Today in 1997 I was in Manchester for Belle and Sebastian, which means tomorrow in 1997 I was also in Manchester for Belle and Sebastian. Two gigs in two days, at the height of their powers. We're off to see them again in Margate in 2026.
