It's that most wonderful time of the year, the time for enforced jolity with your cow-orkers... The wife has hers today, they are going for festive ramen. Funding it themselves I think and the team are dropping out one by one... I'll see how it went when I pick her up later. She did get a christmas bonus of being allowed to wfh an extra day, and then was given two extra half days off around christmas time, nice. I have not booked any days off yet, must sort that.
My own christmas meal is next week, but just been invited to another work thing at the same time, at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. I think I will have to stick with our work meal.
We are fully overdrawn now, just slightly, but on both the current accounts. It's good that it is pay day in two days, and there's nothing outstanding on the credit card. Still presents to buy though... We have not had a payment taken for the new bathroom yet, there should be monthly outgoings there. We will chase it up in the new year.
In other things that need chasing up, do you remember when I used to drive a beetle? I wonder what state it is in. It has been over a year now, surely they have forgotten about it?
Light rain and a moderate breeze, 7 - 9℃.
