Blog ≫ 2025 ≫ Proper cooking
I made a dinner on Sunday, and as the wife points out I do like to go on about it on the rare occasions it happens. I made this delicious dinner, sticky potato and pepper salad with a weird "dip" made mostly of tofu. And yes, salad, it is mostly a plate of roast potatoes, you're right, and we should have had some proper salad with this salad. The others had chicken with it and I had southern fried grills. I would do it again, in fact I probably have to to use up some of the ingredients I bought specially for it like the chilli jam.
It feels cold and wintery here, but I have been out three times today, that is excessive. Walking this morning, then a failed shopping expedition at lunch so had to do another one after work. It's not raining or anything, and the heating has not come on, but it is feeling slightly wintery out there now. I am a bit tired too that is part of it.
Work important busy day went well, I might have already said that.
