Mum and Dad visiting so we've had a great weekend, eating and living well. Wife made a vege chilli for everyone Friday night and we had some nice Alsace wine from The Wine Society, haven't done an order for ages. Saturday parkrun, I got there late so my time looks quite bad, but also I found it quite hard going, like moving my legs through treacle at points. Not sure what that was. Saturday we went into Hythe just for a bimble but I got some Queen vinyl in a charity shop. Not a 50p bargain or anything, they know what they're selling, but a good quality copy of The Game, pleased with that. When we got back we went to play pool at The Fountain. Fun, but it's still not a good pub. Beer a bit off, surely that is what is keeping people away? Then we came back to mostly watch big mouse eating the apples off the tree in the garden. They're all gone now, and the tree is going soon. Then a curry delivery from Clay Oven and Strictly Come Dancing.
Sunday getting the jobs out of the way, then briefly to The Potting Shed. This is becoming a nice Sunday afternoon tradition just in time for it to probably not be possible. It's closed this week for a holiday, but it's going to be changing hands in the new year I think. Good thing about it being the last day before a holiday, he stayed open a bit later and gave all the beer away free in the last hour!
All back to work and school today. I think T2 has remembered his guitar, and I know T1 has forgotten his lunch. Arrabiata sauce is in the Ninja right now, so I must clear up and start work. Wife is in London today and she did not sleep well so she's not too happy about that.
It is warmer today than yesterday, yesterday heating came on, today not.
Gusty winds and sunny intervals, 9 - 13℃.
