Blog ≫ 2025 ≫ Iron Maiden only thirty-five years ago today
Doesn't time fly. I went to see Iron Maiden at Hammersmith Odeon this day in 1990. I was workng at Nixdorf at the time, probably on a work placement in Bracknell, and we headed in to London. We did not have tickets, but got given these freebies outside, nice. I am sure it was by DJ Tommy Vance, but maybe that's a story I have told myself over the years.
Got a thirty-yearer for tomorrow that I have the poster up on the wall in the study of, and I was just thinking today of getting a frame or something for it to stop it deteriorating.
