Blog ≫ 2025 ≫ Parkrun cancelled today
I got up for parkrun early after a lovely night at the Potting Shed, following a tricky day at work. And then parkrun was cancelled for thunder and lightning. Spent the day clearing the bathroom and the cupboards of old medicines etc ready for our new en-suite which is being fitted on Monday. Went to the pub briefly again this afternoon while the children were out, then collected them and came home to ready meal spaghetti and finally watched Avengers Endgame on TV. After caught up with Slow Horses and then more festival music including Supergrass.
Yesterday watched a load of Iron Maiden after the Potting Shed and it looks like that was the thirty-five year gigiversary of not-quite-seeing-them in Southampton. So thirty-five years since seeing them at Hammersmith Odeon coming up any day now. Was the thirtieth anniversary of seeing Stereolab and the twenty-eighth gigiversary of David Devant, who we're seeing again soon...
