Blog2025 ≫ Not a bad commute

I kept the car today, often I've been getting a lift to the station or we've been going in together. So, fairly busy day, fairly productive, think I got the go ahead to delete a couple of big lumps of annoying code that are slowing systems down and have been annoying me for years. Now I have to prove I can do it and it won't break things and it will speed things up.

Because of keeping the car, no long walk home today. But I did walk a bit more at work, so not quite the disastrous step count it might have been at home.

As that's my last commute of the week I can reorganise my bags a bit, how exciting.

I got some bargain advanced tickets for future commuting, there are some £16.20 singles if you book them far enough in advance. So that's £32 quid for the return insted of the £82 or so I paid today.

The others have gone out to a quiz, I can watch the last episode of Eternauts in peace.
