It's very windy out. Just went for a walk and it's very very windy. They've gone and named a storm again.
That is about my highlight of the day, a brief walk to Sandgate and back. Apart from that, much work, some ironing, and then bed. I will be up early for going into London tomorrow.
Yesterday was also very windy. We went to Dover Castle. We did the Taskmaster English Heritage challenge, and it added a bit of extra fun to a walk round the castle.
Speaking of Sandgate though it seems to have been in the Daily Mail today. A friend sent a link, all about DFLs coming down here ruining our village, pricing out the locals etc. I expect that's what it said, I did not click on the link. Sandgate is very much gentrified right now. I wonder what the Inn Doors would be like if it was still there? I think the Inn Doors would have loved to have got away with charging seven pounds a pint like the bar that replaced it. Then maybe it would have just morphed into that bar, rather than closing and a new one opened in its place.
I got away with being first line on call for seven days, did not get woken in the night. Now seven days of second line on call, hope I am as lucky.
A clear sky and a fresh breeze, 11 - 22℃.
