I woke up thinking of running today. Haven't been out for a run for over two weeks now and feeling a bit sluggish. I have left it a bit late to get fitter for Glastonbury though, and I don't want to risk twisting an ankle or "having a fall" or anything just two days before my little holiday. So, no running today.
I might still take my kit with me, as I understand there is an organised run round the site.
Didn't sleep that well last night though. Partly it's the heat, but thinking about it, I was at home in a comfortable bed, and it was quiet. I was not trying to sleep on the ground next to a pounding techno circus. It will be an interesting week.
This day in 1994, we were heading off to Glastonbury, the first one for me. I also went in 1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, and 2003. I think I have the dates wrong for several of these so will fix them up. They were all approximately now though, the first weekend after the Summer solstice.
Sunny and a fresh breeze, 11 - 21℃.
