I was on call yesterday, did not get called. Hope I'm not speaking too soon, I'm on call until 9am and it's just gone seven as I write this... Bought my train ticket this week with some of the money I will earn for that day on call. Got an advanced discount both ways, £64.20 total. That's still a lot but it less than I might have paid. More than I paid last week by not going in, but I had to have the day off to do that.
I have two more on call days coming up, the last two days I'm working before Glastonbury.
Clare is commuting today. I'm waiting for T2 to finish his porridge, then get ready for my day. T1 has a study day at home, I will be getting him up in an hour or so. Next exam Wednesday, he only has eight left.
