Lovely day out there, just about got to parkrun in time after dropping T1 off at school for a Saturday morning GCSE booster session.
I thought I ran quite well today, but still not my fastest time of the year. I had a few people at work mention my 5k time saying it's good, so I tried a bit harder today trying to show them how good it can be. Didn't really pay off but I didn't show myself up. Met another parkrunner in the Potting Shed yesterday, he's ten years younger than me and I was about twenty seconds faster than him. Don't think he was really trying though. It's a run, not a race.
