Of course I shouldn't say that. I'm second line on call, you rarely get called in this position. Tonight I will be doing a bit of work though, sort of, a bit of monitoring of systems while there is a TV promotion going on. We saw a lot of traffic during it last week. It's Britain's Got Talent, which we don't watch, and I won't watch, but I will follow along online.
I was confident enough in not getting called to go to the pub yesteray, just for a couple (and took my laptop), then home early to watch TWO films. 1. Glass Onion, they'd already started this before I got in and 2 - 21 Jump Street. Enjoyed both, though seen Glass Onion at least once before.
Today took the laptop also to parkrun, left it in the car though, did not run with it. And then also took it to the cinema today to watch the new Marvel one Thunderbolt﹡. I liked it, though it was kind of low key compared to others, I think that was the point though. Really long second post credits scene right at the end. Wasn't what I originally assumed / hoped it would be, but what it was was slightly spoiled by the music for it coming up in the music credits before the scene had been shown.
After that Clare dropped me off in Folkestone and I walked back. Really lovely out, some people on the beach and in the sea. Not me though, not with the laptop.
Tonight I'm eating pizza while everyone else has chicken, and then we'll watch Race Across The World.
I've typed this up sat on the balcony, it's still beautiful out but cooler now the sun has moved and I'm in the shade.
