Blog2025 ≫ Not a bad day in London

Got a lift to the station this morning, so Clare could keep the car. She didn't need it, but T1 had an exam first thing, and this was just in case the bus didn't stop or something, to make sure he could get there on time. As it happens it all went well, and the exam itself went well.

Train to London all fine, and the weather improved throughout the day. Day busy, fairly productive. Had my pay review and that went well too. I had a vague idea of the numbers already (around my bonus, which I still tend to call "profit share" as a hangover from the old Holiday Extras days, but it's just a bonus), but it's complicated enough for me to have misunderstood it by a substantial amount. We can afford to go on holiday.

Hmm looks like all my gigs went missing from my gig history, better take a look at that[^It was not the gig history in the end, it was something on the family tree pages, which I cannot figure out. I have taken down the family tree forum (which stopped being a forum years ago) until I can work it out.

A clear sky and a moderate breeze, 7 - 17℃.
