Blog ≫ 2025 ≫ Something new is opening in Sandgate

There are signs up for a new place called Mimosa 1, where Gate 28 was 2. Not sure what it will be yet 3.

No sign of movement in Annapurna in the spot across the road from this. They last said they were opening in April 4

  1. I've got pictures and everything now, if you click on Mimosa and search.
  2. I went to Gate 28 on the day we moved into our flat and I proposed to my wife, true story.
  3. It says something like "breakfast, lunch, cocktails" on the paper sign in the window.
  4. Well, possibly some sign of movement, though not sure if I imagined it or not. Is there light coming from the basement occasionally when I drive past? Is someone decorating down there? Will it be open for the next bank holiday weekend? Will either of them? Were they in fact open this weekend and I have just not been past there again yet? Writing this extra bit on Easter Monday, as I just spotted this page got a load of traffic this week.
