Possibly we have done this before, in previous jobs, but today is the first day with two offices set up. Clare has taken the dining room, she didn't fancy sharing my windowless basement room for some reason. We set up her new monitor and stand and thing on the table before work, and will work out how effectively we can tidy it away later. We're sure to find cupboards full of things we can clear out and pack away most of the peripherals there at the end of the day. The monitor is big but very slim. Slim like our big TV but perhaps twenty inches across.
Boys headed back to school after their week off, and I'm about to start work. A lot of messages to catch up on after my week off. Back to it. Pay day Friday, and there will be some on-call money in there too. Maybe I'll buy a better monitor.
Weather is quite bad out there, heavy rain.
