I think that now when I sit down at my desk in the study, and put my phone on the little wireless charging pad, it will power up the laptop and the speakers. It is the act of putting the phone on charge there that starts the process, not me sitting down. There's no sensor in the chair. Not yet anyway.
I've set it all up, but not tested it yet, as I'm sat upstairs. Just finishing Monty Python And The Holy Grail and then hopefully there is still time for Gladiators.
