Recessed sockets like this 1 were hard to find when I was looking for this sort of thing to hack into my chair a while ago. Or was I only looking for the usb charging part, and not looking for mains power. Could this be a goer? It's a bit big to fit it into the chair, and I don't really want to cut a hole this size in my desk. But it's a maybe.
There are other smaller options 1. And I've got a round hole cutting saw.
And while I've got my round hole cutter out, the cup holders are easier to find now too 1. Can't quite make this fit in this chair though, the arm is not wide enough.
