Blog2024 ≫ Parkrun 175

Not nice out there, cold, windy, bit wet. T1 declined to come with me, but I braved it. It was the annual tinsel run, there was a local radio DJ playing music and cheering people on, and there were lots of people in festive fancy dress. Not me, but with T1 not being there I was allowed to wear my good running shoes and my still-fairly-new Patagonia rain layer.

I went to The Potting Shed after work yesterday, and it was quite full and festive. That is probably my last visit before christmas, possibly my last one this year, which would be my last one until Febrewery! I got a chinese takeway when I left and ran back so it was still warm when I got home. We watched two episodes of the new Cormoran Strike TV series, but I dozed off a bit in the second one. I remember the book though so I already know who did it.

We were at The Pogues twenty years ago this very day, in 2004.

Gusty winds and rain, 5 - 11℃.
