Blog2024 ≫ Bin food sausages for lunch

I remembered to get some of the vege sausages I'd got on a previous Sunday bin food run out of the freezer. I keep buying stuff on a Sunday if it's good for the freezer, then store it in the freezer so long that one of the boys accidentally defrosts the freezer again before I get to eat it. It's usually stuff that shouldn't be cooked from frozen, like these sausages. I also had some sort of bubble and squeak in there too (sort of because it was a bit light on the veg, was just made of leftovers) so I cooked it all up in the Ninja for lunch.

Boys finishing early today, Clare has taken T1 for a haircut, and T2 is going to town with his friends. He's got a pocket full of cash we'll have to see what he comes back with. He's getting the bus from there to his friend's house where they're having tea. He forgot his bus pass today, non-uniform day meant it wasn't in the expected pocket, but I think Clare will have recovered that when picking the other one up for his haircut.

Lunch over, back to work for me, probably going to the Potting Shed after work. For the last time this year? Maybe.

Still very cold, but I did go for a walk this morning. Sort of gearing myself up for a run tomorrow, but not quite.

Light rain and a moderate breeze, 4 - 9℃.
