We all slept until 10am today. The weather is horrible out. We're going to go to Folkestone though, to go to Chaos Cards to see if T2 can get in on some intro to Pokemon gaming class, then might get some lunch out too.
It's the still roundish, even less impressive thirty-fifth gigiversary of the second time on the same tour of seeing The Primitives, today in 1989. After seeing them at Portsmouth Guildhall the same small group of friends then went again to see them in London. I mixed up the Portsmouth gig with that other time of seeing them at Southampton Joiners the other day, I will go back and cross that out.
This was at The Town And Country, on the same tour as Portsmouth Guildhall. The later Joiners show was in 1991. The band's peak was in 1988 when they released Crash, I have a signed copy of that, but so does everyone I think, not sure there were many unsigned copies. This tour was supporting the second album Pure, and my story from this one is I went on to work with someone who was in one of the support bands.
