Blog ≫ 2024 ≫ Still ill

I could automate this. Yes still ill. Not too bad but definitely feel I've got something still. I have not gone to London again but I have kept working hard.

There is free Octopus Energy tonight 1. It's not usually a night time thing. I have done some washing and must remember to put it in at half nine to make use of the free electricity.

It's cold. The house is OK, the heating has come on a couple of times, but I understand it is cold out 2 3 . One friend was up in Milton Keynes this morning and woke up to snow on the ground. And a friend in London saw snow on the way in to work but it wasn't settling on the ground. Nothing like that here. But cold.

Partly cloudy and a moderate breeze, 0 - 5℃.

  2. Hmm as I write this, and the "make keywords into links" thing has just kicked in, for some reason it has made "cold out" into a link to "sold out". Not sure why it has done that, but I have just done a big old update of how I work out what is a valid keyword / tag and what is not. I might end up fixing it and the link might disappear again. But this boring message will stay for prosperity
  3. Aha, it is doing it because I have put a wildcard in there as the official name of my fanzine was $OLD OUT with a dollar in there, and that is hard to match, so I bodged it.
