Blog2024 ≫ It's wet

I went out this morning for a walk before work, and it rained and I got soaked through. Then I've had quite a busy day, feel like I have been on calls all day, right through lunch. Didn't feel properly warm or dry all day. Then went out for a walk between work and tea to find my coat and shoes are still wet from this morning. Put them on anyway and went out, and it rained again and I got even more wet I still feel wet.

Coat has gone in the tumble dryer in case I need it for tomorrow. Commuting in for work, though there and back in one day. It's not a normal day of work, it's a team day. We have a few presentations in the morning, then an escape room and pizza later. I'm still not that excited, though I like London, and not doing proper work, and escape rooms, and pizza, I think I'd rather not be going. I'm also not drinking still, so won't feel the benefit of any free beer that is on offer. I'm driving to the station, leaving the car there, driving back. Not the beetle, the real car.

Still have not heard back about the beetle, I'm sure it's for the best.

I don't think that rain is light, nor the breeze gentle.

Light rain and a gentle breeze, 7 - 16℃.
