Blog2024 ≫ Hostel bonus content

⬆️At last a hostel story (and updated list)

I just found some more content I dictated in my phone relating to this day. This is after leaving work but before getting to the cinema:

I left work about 6:00 for a walk in the rain to the Generator hostel already. Two things have gone wrong today. I've left my headphones back at the office. All my things in the locker as usual, but also they'd run out of fizzy drinks. So my plan to get a drink from the office to take with me to the cinema has fallen down. I did get around to filling up my water bottle away before leaving so going to the hostel to check in. Then walking to the cinema in Islington again. Go and see The Substance this time. I'm not sure about it. There's nothing on I really want to see. I was torn between this and Never Let Go and I fancy that one even less. They both look slightly horror themed. I think that is this time of year. Not expecting many surprises. We will see. Going to try the buffet in chapel market looks good. I think I have time.

I'm on the ground floor this week, but not too near the noisy bar. Got the lower bunk I asked for, looks good. Room of maybe ten beds.

Food in the Indian buffet really good. Busy popular place, only a tenner for unlimited food (tasty veg curries and salads) and flavoured "detox" water. Can't detect any flavor in this, supposedly it is bettroot and turmeric.
