I put washing in last night, set the timer for tumble dryer for 4am, and everything's dry this morning, so we're all good.
What a productive day! It's pay day, so I've only gone and put the beetle in for an MOT! It's MOT exempt but they'll do a dummy MOT, not failing it on emissions or anything but giving me a report. They're also going to change the oil.
AND I've paid the service charge on the house, well half of it. Management company changed, and there was a big delay in the bill, so they have billed us for the whole year at once. Normally it's in two chunks. So I've paid half, and set a reminder to pay the other half later.
AND I ate a lunch out of the freezer today. No idea how old it was. Our freezers are full and I keep saying "check the freezer before buying new stuff", so I need to lead by example. Chip the ice of stuff deep down in there and eat those fossilised mammoth chops.
What else can I do? Will I actually buy new running shoes too? That's been on my @todo list for at least six months... Not going crazy on the spending though. Cleared the holiday things off the credit card, and still plenty left, but I want to have a fairly calm month with no crazy expenses. No buying new bits of furniture that I can't fit in the house for example. Still might buy that washbag though.
