Blog2024 ≫ Booked a comedy show for next time I stay over for work

Assuming this week's plan of staying over in London on the days inbetween work, then I'll do the same as often as I can. So, I have been looking for things to do in London inbetween work and trying to get to sleep in a noisy murder hostel, and I remembered Leicester Square Theatre. There are always good comedy shows on there aren't there? This week, no, it is someone from a reality show in conversation, promoting their new book. Not for me. But next week Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast is back! RHLSTP! I've been to this before, and it's worth going whoever the guests are. This week Peter Serafinawicz is his guest, there will be another guest announced too I think, he always does two together and then splits them over two week's podcasts. He often picks guests who are conveniently close, performing the same venue around the same time. And who's also in the same venue on the same day doing a work in progress in the afternoon? Ricky Gervais! That's all sold out, though I've put my name on the reserve list for a future date. Do not imagine he would have him as a guest, but they do probably have a dislike of Stewart Lee to bond over.

Chucking it down with rain today, probably not going out. Clare and the boys are at the cinema, but I didn't fancy it today. Still have that option in the bag for my work night entertainment.

Thundery showers and a fresh breeze, 12 - 17℃.
