Blog2024 ≫ Wow I did have a busy week

I said I got up at 6am to do some work on Tuesday but actually I got up at 6am to do the same work on Wednesday and it still wasn't ready. The team setting it up tried to get it ready for Thursday, but still no joy. I 90% knew it wouldn't be ready by the end of play on Wednesday, but thought I'd have to get up early the next day anyway, either to test this work, or to head into London. So I commuted in. Was busy at the station, I had to park even further away, and busy on the train in. A nice day in London, though busy again. Being the last day before pay day and it having been an expensive month, I took my own lunch in instead of going out. And that worked fine, I think I will do that again. Lunch out is at least a fiver, usually eight quid, and then going out for coffee (which I also politely declined) can save even more than that.

Have had pay day now, all back on track. That piece of work is still not live though.

Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, 13 - 23℃.

Estimated 1940 cups of coffee from my espresso machine 1 probably comes to £1.01 a cup (including the coffee and servicing 1 but not the electricity).
