Allowing myself one day a week of drinking and that was yesterday. A super busy week again, too busy to go out much, so didn't get to enjoy much of the weather. Caught up with my friends that I'm going to Belgium with, in The Clarendon yesterday. Three pints that were good, then also some wine when I got in that I just didn't enjoy.
Parkrun this morning, and biked there and back too. Looked like it was going to rain, and me without my new Patagonia stormchaser rain jacket. I should have worn it probably but didn't want to look too "all the gear and no idea" if it didn't actually rain hard. I have bought it for holidays, where we are expecting rain, but also where I don't want to be weighed down with an actual coat.
Clare has gone to the theatre today with a friend, a birthday present. The boys are watching a film, and I have some DIY to do. Going to take down the IKEA smart blinds in their rooms as they've just stopped working, and everyone's fed up with them stopping working. Going to replace them with dumb blinds, and then I might put smart motors on them like ours. It's much easier to override if it ever does go wrong, the IKEA ones have no manual backup.
Been spending far too much of my spare time making this thing that looks like shell access to the blog, it is interactive, but you need a keyboard right now.
Need to stop twitting about on the internet now, drop some stuff off at charity shops, go to Tesco to get some lunch, eat lunch, go buy new blinds, drop more stuff off at more charity shops, then fit new blinds, before Clare gets back. Unlikely.
