Blog2024 ≫ Recovery day from Saturday

Went down to Sandgate with friends to get breakfast, we sat outside the Boathouse, it was lovely. Clare and the boys came too, and while we were there we had a biplane doing stunts right overhead. Of course I told my friends I had arranged it specially.

Clare and I then went for another walk in the afternoon, up the hill and back down via The Britannia. I just had a shandy, so basically not drinking. This is the start of the new regime. Let's say drinking only one day a week from now on? See how I get on with that. Think I'm going to drive to the Suede / Manics gig this weekend.

And oh, football failed to come home then. So close! A good game, what a shame.

Still shocked by the Donald Trump news, it's surely going to superpower his race to The Whitehouse now.
