Up a little earlier as Curry's could be coing to collect the TV any time between 7am and 11am. I've got it prepared for them, they're going to bring their own packaging.
We watched the opening match of the Euros on the old TV last night which I've brought up to the lounge. It's bigger than I remember, but you notice the picture quality is not as good when watching something like this. I've plugged the XBox into it too so T1 is not complaining, and T2 didn't use it loads in the playroom, only for youtube really. Will be good to get back to normal though. Wondering what will happen if they can't fix it. Will I get a replacement? Probably a refurb. I don't mind as long as it is comparable to what we had. I always think the built in freesat receiver is the most important thing, as I can plug the satellite dish in directly, no other box. There's no aerial reception here so it's the only way to get the live free to air channels. But we don't actually watch much live TV, it's all internet. Even last night's ITV was live over the internet.
I'll go to parkrun anyway at half eight, hope it's done before then but if not someone else can supervise. Mum and Dad are here visiting, so we had a vegetable chilli for dinner last night. Very good, if I do say so myself. We made it the old style with lots of beans and only sweet potato and peppers in, no soya mince as Mum would not eat that. Slow cooked in the Ninja the day before, with rice and wraps and tortilla chips and extra chilli flakes and jalapenos at the table as I could not make it too hot either.
Ooh just got the call they'll be here to collect the TV in five minutes.
Won't be going far today apart from the run. Probably lunch at home, then might go to the Harbour Arm this afternoon for a look in that new Boardroom bar.
