Yesterday I was in a bit of a funk because the TV stopped working and I thought I was going to be way out of pocket replacing it... But called Currys today, and yes it's still in guarantee (I bought it in November 2020) and they can send someone to collect it tomorrow. It will be away about a week, depending on parts. Only two things there, tomorrow is not good as we're in and out for sports day and then my big day off walk round Folkestone later, so they're coming Saturday. Then the other thing is I already looked online for the part I suspect it to be (the power supply) and it's out of stock everywhere.
I'm happier too about the shares, they bombed again yesterday, so yesterday I had lost more than the extra money I put in at the beginning of the week. But today they have recovered and all is good. I was always up, I just wasn't up on the small amount I put in on Monday. Now I am again.
With the TV being sorted we still have money left for a weekend of fun when Clare finishes work in a few weeks. We are thinking about York.
One more thing to be cheery about there is Octopus Free Energy 1 today, so I've done ironing and washing and drying at lunch.
Light rain showers and light winds, 8 - 14℃.
