Was supposed to be meeting an old friend from Holiday Extras on Saturday, but he cried off ill. So we had quite a quite day, with Clare still being ill, and then a quite evening too. Then another friend suggested going to the Britannia Sunday afternoon for the live music, but Sunday morning he cried off ill too. Is it covid? Is it back??
So today I have been to Tesco twice and to Screwfix to collect my patio cleaner and pump sprayer. First trip to Tesco was to get essentials for dinner later, just in case I still went out this afternoon. Second trip was for the just-before-closing colleague shop freebies. I had a plan to make a vegetable curry, so needed some vegetables. Got a free aubergine and free peppers, and also some vegeburgers that I can put in the freezer. A good free haul of bin food. I could have got plenty of chicken, but it would all need eating today, and we already have a pasta bake and garlic bread dinner lined up.
Been out in the back garden today in the time I would have gone to the pub and sprayed patio cleaner everywhere. I thought it would be like some sort of miracle bleach, I don't see any effect yet. I might have to wait a bit and then as a last resort I might have to read the instructions. I did read as far as how much you have to dilute it, and I did that.
Still waiting for my new lightswitches to turn up. If that happens soon I might fit one. Then dinner, then maybe a new TV series we have spotted with Johnny Vegas as a private detective. Looks to be a spin off of the fairly crap Murder On The Blackpool Express.
