Blog2024 ≫ As expected

Nice out, but freezing. Would have been better running parkrun today than volunteering but still.

Thank you for volunteering at Folkestone parkrun, event number 429 on 2024-03-23 Thank you very much for your support at Folkestone parkrun, event 429 on 2024-03-23. You've now volunteered at this event on 18 separate occasions.

Not a lot going on the rest of the day. Was going to put a new vinyl on that I bought in a charity shop yesterday, but the boys have now commandeered the lounge. I could still sit in there, see if my big headphones that I never use any more are still paired to it.

First a coffee.

Light rain showers and a fresh breeze, 4 - 9℃.

Estimated 1644 cups of coffee from my espresso machine1 probably comes to £1.08 a cup (including actual coffee and now servicing1 so not the 'leccy).

I should have enough data now to work out how much that coffee machine is costing me in electricity too.

There's an energy saving "Earth Hour" tonight, from half eight to half nine. I can talk the boys into it, and Clare is out for a meal tonight in Folkestone.
